Full Time Nanny - Harpenden

A warm and caring family in Harpenden is looking for a loving and proactive nanny to join them on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly, welcoming household where the children’s happiness and development are a top priority.
Role Details:

Start Date: Ideally January 2026 (open to September 2025 onwards for the right candidate)

Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:30pm

Position Type: Full-time, live-out

Additional Hours: Occasional overtime and babysitting available

Location: Harpenden (Parking available, duty car may be provided)

Pay: £15 to £17 gph
About the Family:
The family has two children:

A lively and inquisitive 4-year-old boy who attends nursery during the day

A baby boy who will be 12 months old at the start of the role
Both parents have busy careers but prioritise a warm and supportive home environment. They are looking for a nanny who feels like part of the family, someone kind, reliable, and able to create a fun and nurturing space for their children.
Nanny Responsibilities:

Taking over from breakfast and managing the daily routine

Nursery drop-offs and pick-ups

Sole charge care of the baby, including outings, activities, and naps

Planning engaging and age-appropriate activities for both children

Meal preparation for the children

Child-related laundry and keeping play areas tidy

The family is seeking a nanny who is warm, caring, and naturally connects with children. They value a proactive and supportive approach, as well as honesty and reliability. Experience levels are flexible, and they are open to candidates with different backgrounds.
